How Many Connections Do You Need? VARESTEAM4K IPTV Guide

The number of connections is the one choice that depends on how your household watches. Get it right and every screen that needs to stream can do so at the same time.

What a connection is

A connection is one stream at a time. Every VARESTEAM4K IPTV plan comes with 1 to 5 connections:

• 1 connection: one device streams at a time. You can use your subscription on different devices, for example your TV in the evening and your phone while travelling, but only one can stream at once.
• 2 to 5 connections: up to that number of devices can stream at the same time.

Count the screens that watch at the same time

What matters is not how many devices you own, but how many will be streaming at the same moment.

1. Think of your busiest viewing time, such as a weekday evening.
2. Count the screens that would be streaming at that moment.
3. Choose that number of connections, up to 5. If only one screen streams at a time, 1 connection is enough, even if you switch between several devices.

Good to know

• If more devices try to stream at the same time than your plan allows, the extra streams are stopped. Your subscription itself is not automatically blocked.
• Sharing a subscription with others or reselling it is not allowed.
• Check that each device you plan to use is supported in our device setup guide.
