VARESTEAM4K IPTV Setup Guide

Find simple, step-by-step setup instructions for your device, from Smart TVs and Fire TV to phones, tablets and Windows computers.

Before You Start

  • An active VARESTEAM4K subscription. You can compare plans and prices.
  • The login details provided with your subscription. If you don’t have them yet, message our team on WhatsApp (opens in a new tab).
  • A working internet connection on the device you’re setting up.
  • Your subscription is activated immediately after your payment is confirmed, so you can set up your device as soon as you have your details.

Connection Methods

Enter three details: the server URL, your username and your password.
M3U playlist

Smart TV

  1. Connect your TV to the internet and install any available software update.
  2. Open your TV’s built-in app store and search for an IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U playlists.
  3. Install the app.
  4. Open the app and choose its Xtream Codes (sometimes called Xtream API) or M3U playlist sign-in option.
  5. Enter the details provided with your subscription exactly as written. Usernames, passwords and links are usually case-sensitive.
  6. Wait for the channel list and programme guide to load, then open a channel to test playback.

Which apps are available depends on your TV’s brand, model and region. Some TV apps show a device code and ask you to add your playlist on the app’s website instead; if so, follow the app’s on-screen instructions.

Amazon Fire TV / Firestick

  1. From the Fire TV home screen, open search (Find) and look for an IPTV player in the Amazon Appstore.
  2. Select the app and choose Get or Download to install it.
  3. Open the app and choose its Xtream Codes (sometimes called Xtream API) or M3U playlist sign-in option.
  4. Enter the details provided with your subscription exactly as written. Usernames, passwords and links are usually case-sensitive.
  5. Wait for the channel list and programme guide to load, then open a channel to test playback.

If playback stutters, check your Wi-Fi signal or see our tips for smoother streaming.

Android TV Box

  1. Connect the box to your TV and to the internet. A wired connection is usually the most stable.
  2. Open the Google Play Store on the box and search for an IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U.

Using a MAG box instead? MAG boxes use a portal URL rather than an app. See MAG boxes below.

Android Smartphone

  1. Open the Google Play Store on your phone and search for an IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U.
  2. Install the app.

Streaming on mobile data uses your data allowance. Wi-Fi is the better choice for long viewing sessions.

iPhone / iPad

  1. Open the App Store on your iPhone or iPad and search for an IPTV player that supports Xtream Codes or M3U.
  2. Install the app.

Make sure iOS or iPadOS is up to date if the app asks for a newer version.

Windows PC / Laptop

  1. Install an IPTV player for Windows that supports Xtream Codes or M3U, for example from the Microsoft Store.
  2. Open the app and choose its Xtream Codes (sometimes called Xtream API) or M3U playlist sign-in option.
  3. Enter the details provided with your subscription exactly as written. Usernames, passwords and links are usually case-sensitive.
  4. Wait for the channel list and programme guide to load, then open a channel to test playback.

Many Windows media players can also open an M3U playlist link directly. Look for an option such as “Open network stream” or “Open URL” and paste your M3U link.

MAG Boxes (Portal URL)

  1. Note the MAC address printed on the label of your MAG box. Our team may ask for it to link your subscription to the box.
  2. On the box, open Settings, then System settings, then Servers, then Portals.
  3. Enter a portal name of your choice and the portal URL provided with your subscription.
  4. Save your changes and restart the box. The portal loads after the restart.

Menu names can vary slightly between MAG models and software versions.

If Something Doesn’t Work

  • Re-enter your login details carefully, checking capital letters and spaces.
  • Close and reopen the app, or restart the device.
  • Check that the device is online and that other apps can load content.
  • Read our tips for smoother streaming if playback is slow or keeps stopping.
